Statesboro Youth Chorale (SYC) Financial Policy
Tuition:
For one chorister paying in full: $225.00 or four installments of $60.00
For the second chorister in the same family paying in full: $175.00 or four installments of $50.00
For the third chorister in the same family paying in full: $150.00 or four installments of $40.00
In addition, chorister is financially responsible for purchasing his/her own uniform.
Uniform information will be posted on the SYC Bulletin Board.
Refund Policy:
This assumes that chorister has paid all tuition on schedule ~~no refunds will be issued for students who are behind in payments:
Chorister leaving the organization after three or fewer scheduled rehearsals: 50% of paid tuition reimbursed.
Chorister leaving the organization from the fourth to the seventh scheduled rehearsal: 25% of paid tuition reimbursed.
Chorister leaving the organization from the eighth to the tenth scheduled rehearsal: 10% of paid tuition reimbursed.
Chorister leaving the organization after ten scheduled rehearsals: no refund issued.
Late Payment Policy
Fees are due at the first rehearsal of the year for those paying in full. For those paying in installments, fees are due at the first rehearsal of the months of September, October, November, and December. For your convenience, our Treasurer will provide 4 self-addressed envelopes for you. It is also acceptable (though not ideal) to give payments to Mrs. Hancock at the end of rehearsal. Any chorister who has not paid in full by the first rehearsal in December will be asked to leave the organization unless the chorister has contacted our treasurer to work out a payment plan.
It is the policy of the Statesboro Youth Chorale that no chorister will be denied participation on the basis of financial concerns.
