What is the Statesboro Youth Chorale?
We are a community children's chorus performing a variety of music. We welcome students ages 8-18 who enjoy singing and want to be a part of a trained singing organization.
What Does the Chorus Do?
We study performance, voice production, music reading and other skills that make us fine performers. As we learn music of many types and languages, we prepare for concerts. When the chorus is well-prepared (and the opportunity is right), we tour to different places, performing for a variety of audiences.

Who Works with the Youth Chorale?
The staff is headed up by Dr. Michael Braz and Mrs. Sarah Hancock, both members of Georgia Southern University's music faculty. Each has many years' experience with children's choirs; each has toured extensively in solo and ensemble performance experiences.
